Coming Events

During the school year we have many exciting programs taking place that you won’t want to miss.  Check our calendar for dates and make sure you don’t miss out on these opportunities to serve Christ and fellowship with other believers:

Fellowship Evenings

Finding time to interact with each other as a church family can be difficult in the busy world we live in.  Our fellowships evening are monthly events designed to help us do that.  They take place once a month on Sunday Evenings throughout the school year.  Check the church calendar for dates, and stay posted for times and locations.  Typically we hold them at the church, but they’ve also ranged from the Pumpkin Patch and the Davisson Pond, clear down to Wichita.  Anyone’s invited and all are welcome!

Men’s Fellowship

What guy doesn’t like good food?  And more importantly, what man doesn’t need more instruction from God’s word?  At our Men’s Fellowship we bring the two together.  Each man brings his own tasty concoction.  Then, after the meal, they open up God’s word to see how they can become better men of God and help edify one another.  Other than these monthly meetings the Men’s Fellowship also comes together to help out when problems arise and to put on various events throughout the year.  All are invited, and young boys are more than welcome to join in!

BARACA Women’s Fellowship

BARACA stands for Be A Ready Active Christian Always.  That’s what our Women’s Fellowship is all about; learning to follow Christ more, and finding ways to do it.  The women are always creating new ways to fellowship with one another and to help others in the community become aware of the love that God has shown us through His Son Jesus Christ.  Wherever God has you in life, we know that you need fellowship with other women, the encouragement and prayers we give to and for each other are priceless.  Put these events on your calendar, and form friends that will strengthen your walk in Christ for a life time.

JOY Bible Club

This is our weekly after school program for ages pre-K to 6th grade.  JOY stands for Jesus then Others then You.  And we have a host of teachers dedicated to sharing God’s word with young kids and teaching them how they can live for Christ and put others first.  We start behind the church at the playground around 3:40 p.m. and then move inside for a time of joyful singing around 4:00 p.m.  Most kids come from the bus stop where a teacher waits to supervise their arrival, but kids come a variety of other ways too.  Parents are encouraged to pick their children up at 5:15 p.m.  Check our JOY calendar for dates.
